Our Chardonnays are in flowers.
It's just the start and will probably continue for a couple of weeks.
These days the weather is as we like it to ensure a good pollination. Sun, warm temperatures and some wind. Perfect conditions to assure as many grapes as possible from the potential.
Full flowers is when more than half of the vineyards has flowers. From this point we can do a calculation to have an idea about when grapeharvest may be due.
Right now we are bit more focused on the storms announced this friday. Not nice for neither pollination nor vineyards in general.
But let's see, maybe it's not for us this time.
Maybe our flowers can simply enjoy.
