The grapeharvest in Champagne has been on since the last days of August. Most grapes are gathered in, at the moment they fermentate to wine. We wait for the first hints about perspectives and quality of this vintage, even most will only follow once the wines are ready around New Year.
We finished our share of the vendange about a week ago. It was another good experience: New team of pickers, who worked well and cheerfully, grapes in a decent quality and amount and rather good weather: Mild, sunny and only one day of rain.
