Taking care of the veteran
Once per week Alain cuts the tops of the vines in all three hectares.
This is necessary to keep the lines of vines nice and the branches at the same heighth.
After follows a thoroughly cleaning of our old machine.
Little pieces of leaves stay wherever it is possible.
If they are left, the risk of rust is bigger.
And we actually do care.
Even the machine is a veteran, it still costs money to buy a new one.
So we prefer to take care of what where is. An ok principle in general, I believe, don't you?
